Stuff Up

When our own industry publications make mistakes like the one below, you know that journalism in this country is in a sad state of affairs. I’ve posted this one because it directly involves us, but occurrences like these are far too common. Even this story was placed right underneath a clarification from their last issue.

After this story was published, we received e-mails from around Dubai enquiring if Tonic and The Tribe had merged or if I had migrated to a new agency… As amusing as it is, mistakes like these could have dire consequences. It’s a good thing we have a sense of humour and a couple of tickets to The Killers concert in December courtesy of Media Week 😉
